Zack Randall was named 2009 Freshman of the Year in the annual contest hosted by Freshmen magazine. The win marks Randall’s second time to secure the title, having won previously in 2007.

Randall, 24, appears on the September cover of Freshmen, on sale Aug. 18. Reader favorite Kirk Cummings came in second place, and former cover men Marcus Mojo, Dylan McLovin and Trent Davis rounded out the top five finalists, who, like the winner, are celebrated with brand-new, exclusive photo sets inside the September issue.
