Daniel Radcliffe has insisted that he was unfazed when his Equus nude pictures leaked online.

The 19-year-old actor stripped off for his part as Alan Strang in a West End production of the play in 2007. Additionally, he reprised the role for a stint on Broadway last year.

Radcliffe has now revealed that he wasn’t surprised when fans brought cameras into performances and uploaded naked shots on the internet.

Speaking to Moviefone, he commented: “It was just going to happen, wasn’t it? Somebody was going to get a picture up. It’s not me looking my proudest, if I’m honest with you. It’s not me in my best.

“But, hell, the pictures were always going to get out, and I knew that. And frankly, there’s not even one part of me that feels I shouldn’t have done it.

“It was the best thing for me, to get back to what I love doing, which is acting.”

Radcliffe recently claimed that he “didn’t set out to shock” when he accepted the controversial role.
